One thing I didn't mention in my blogpost above, Ange, is that Richardson's Budget sucked billions out of the economy. (Much like Nikki Noboats' efforts last month.) Not only did this slash welfare benefits, it also exacerbated the recession. Hundreds of businesses went into liquidation - including mine.
I ended up unemployed as did my staff.
We were hoping to ride out the recession, but Richardson's "slash-and-burn" sent the economy into a spiral and we paid the price of austerity.
That lesson confirmed to me one simple hard fact: National is no friend of SMEs.
