You're right to call it a "side hustle", Keith. A definite vote-chaser to implement ACT's raison d'etre; the transfer of wealth to the upper 10 or 1%. The gun lobby's vote helps in their agenda. I'm hoping someone in the MSM will cotton on to Ms McKee's references to "competition shooting" and ask the most basic question: WHAT COMPETITION IS SHE REFERRING TO? Because if it sparked my "spidey sense", someone in the media should also be alerted.
No party would have me, Levi. I'd be advocating nationalisation of most rental properties for starters. Also State acquisition of empty sections of land in urban areas left vacant for longer than a year (without damned good reason).
A new Ministry of Works (public ownership entrenched). First $25,000 tax free. A UBI of course. Capital Gains and Wealth taxes. 100% free-to-user education, including Tertiary. Free-to-user dental care. Public funding of political parties (no more dodgy covert funding). Revoke citizenship for Peter Thiel and other oligarchs. All fossil fuel extraction to cease immediatley.. Oh, and the Ambassadors to Israel and Russia can f**k right off. (And USA if they invade another country.)
